WEEK 2

Week 2 started with fire from TNF to a wild injury field night on Monday Night Football. Offense was a plenty this week with most games hitting the over. Rashad Harris, from the Prophets Pod, put together our version of the MVP Race, here in Week 2.

#5 WR Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins (Last Week – 2nd)

The Patriots schemed to stop the big play but Cheetah still delivered a touchdown. His 3 receiving touchdowns lead the league.

Season Stats: 16 catches, 255 yards & 3 TDs.

#4. QB Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers (Last Week – 4th)

A tough loss against the Falcons does not dim the light of Jordan Love. He is tied for 1st with Kirk Cousins for the most touchdown passes (6) and he now leads the NFL in Passer Rating.

Season Stats: 29/52 396 yards 6 TDs 0 INT 55.8 Comp %, 118.7 Rating

#3 RB Christian Mccaffery, San Francisco 49ers (Last Week – Not Ranked)

The 49ers running back rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown in the week 2 win over the Rams. That’s back to back 100 yard games with a touchdown scored. The second year in the run-heavy Shanahan scheme seems to be paying off big time for the 49ers and CMC.

Season Stats: 268 rushing yards 2 TDs, 6 catches & 36 receiving yards

#2 QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week – 5th)

The Chiefs enter the win column on the back of the reigning MVP putting up 300 yards, 2 touchdowns and completing 70% of his passes.

Season Stats: 50/80 531 passing yards 4 TDs 2 INTs 62.5% Comp, 88.1 Rating

#1 QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (Last Week – 1st)

The week 2 numbers are not as eye-popping as the week 1 numbers, but this was another solid performance by Tua against an all-time great in Bill Belichick. Tua moves to 5-0 all time versus the Patriots and he currently leads the NFL in passing yards with 715.

Season Stats: 49/75 715 passing yards 4 TDs 2 INTs 65.33 Comp%, 102.9 Rating

  • QB Kirk Cousins, MIN
